NO short-term changes planned for route 8
Plans to modify the route taken by the #8 Five Mile because of upcoming roadway projects have been scrapped. The decision to keep the downtown to Boise Towne Square Mall leg of the route was based on public comment. Valley Regional Transit staff will continue to monitor the route for safety and on-time performance.

ValleyRide buses will not operate on Thursday, Nov. 25. ValleyRide will operate its regular bus schedule on Friday, Nov. 26.
help us plan for new bus service for southwest Boise
Valley Regional Transit is soliciting public comment to help in planning for new public bus service in southwest Boise. The proposed route would connect at the Boise Towne Square Mall and travel along a route bordered by Overland Road to the north, Victory Road to the south, Cole Road to the east and Five Mile Road to the west. It may be possible for the bus to make passenger pickups within a quarter-mile of the fixed-line route. We need to hear from you so we can include public comment in our planning process. Saturday service
All ValleyRide Saturday buses now use Zone 2 (Main and 9th) and Zone 3 (Main and 8th) to pick up passengers. This change impacts routes 3, 5, 6 and 7. If you have any questions, you can contact RideLine Customer Service at 345-RIDE (7433).
Route 2
The bus stop located at Parkcenter and Pennsylvania has been removed due to the construction of a new building. A temporary stop has been installed at Stephen and Pennsylvania.
Route 1
The bus stop located at University and Capitol will be closed indefinitely due to construction work in the area. Please use the bus stops at University and Brady or University and Cesar Chavez.
